The Autoworld Museum
The Autoworld Museum, located in the heart of Brussels (Belgium), is a fascinating automobile museum that showcases the history of the automotive industry and the evolution of motor vehicles over the years.
This is one of the largest automobile museums in Europe and is dedicated to preserving and displaying vintage cars, classic automobiles, and historic vehicles. There are over 250 vehicles on permanent display!!
The Autoworld Museum was inaugurated in 1986 and is housed in a grand historic building that was originally constructed in 1880 to host the National Exhibition. The architecture of the building itself is a sight to behold, adding to the charm of the museum experience.
From 1902 to 1936 the building hosted motorcar and motorbike exhibitions, and since 1986 it has featured a major part of Ghislain Mahy’s renowned collection.
The Autoworld Museum offers a comprehensive look at the development of automobiles over the years. On permanent display are more than 250 classic and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles, representing various eras, brands, and models.
From the early models of the distant past to contemporary cars, visitors are guided through the motorcar’s fabulous history beginning in the late 19th century.
